SELLING RESULTS, NOT PROMISES....
When you make the decision to sell your home, the goal is to get the best price and the most favorable terms in a timeframe that meets your needs. That's why many sellers choose to work with a full-service, licensed real estate professional, like myself. From effective pricing and marketing to making sure the closing process runs smoothly, I will provide expert representation and support every step of the way.
HOME SELLING CHECKLIST
1. Curb Appeal-Trim hedges, cut and keep grass trimmed. The yard and how the home sits on it are the first thing a buyer sees.
2. Front door or entrance area should be welcoming (power wash or paint if needed). The lock should work flawlessly. Flowers could be a nice welcoming touch.
3. Walking in the front door is the single most important moment a buyer will experience. I’ve heard home buyers say “WOW” the second they walk through the front door. Make this experience monumental! Call a skilled friend or interior designer to help you make that critical first impression. Remember, since the buyer is leaving out the door they came in, it will be their last memory!
4. The rest of the house should be decluttered, spotless, remainder, windows washed, blinds open and inviting light in.
5. Pets should be in pet care during showings if possible. Closets should have shelves partially open as well as clothes hanging areas.
6. SMELL! Please get a friend to give you a honest opinion smell test. Pet odors, mold, moth balls, or heavy cover up scents are the fastest ways to lose buyers.
7. Keep colors neutral. Ask your painter or paint distributor what the most popular colors are and use those. Freshen/professionally clean and stretch carpets. Consider replacing carpets that are beyond repair. It’s worth it.
